Eerste bijeenkomst kabinet-Rutte 'in goede sfeer' - Kabinet-Rutte - VK
DEN HAAG - Het nieuwe kabinet-Rutte is donderdagmorgen voor de eerste maal bijeen gekomen voor het zogenaamde constituerend beraad. In die vergadering is de precieze portefeuilleverdeling van ministers en staatssecretarissen vastgesteld, en hebben de bewindslieden zich officieel gecommitteerd aan het regeerakkoord.
Het beraad vond niet plaats in de Trêveszaal, waar ministerraden normaliter worden plaatsvinden. Het werd in een ander zaaltje gehouden omdat de ploeg van Rutte nog niet door de koningin beëdigd is. Dat gebeurt later vandaag.
Volgens de nieuwe minister van Onderwijs Marja van Bijsterveldt verliep de vergadering in een goede sfeer.
Voorzitter Mark Rutte
De bijna-ministers waren goed te spreken over de voorzittersrol van Mark Rutte. 'Rutte was goed, is goed en blijft goed', zei CDA'er Maxime Verhagen (Economische Zaken). VVD'er Henk Kamp (Sociale Zaken) vond dat Rutte het beraad geroutineerd leidde. 'Ik ben al jaren lid van de fanclub van Mark Rutte. Het is een prettig man met grote capaciteiten en die zal hij laten zien.'
Al bij binnenkomst liepen de aankomend bewindslieden over van enthousiasme.
Heel belangrijk en waanzinnig mooi
Volgens Maxime Verhagen, straks minister van Economische Zaken, noemde de vergadering 'heel belangrijk', gezien de portefeuilleverdeling. Verhagen is op dit moment nog minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, maar wil 'met daden' laten zien dat hij snel gewend zal zijn aan zijn nieuwe post.
Melanie Schultz van Haegen zei het 'waanzinnig mooi' te vinden dat verkeer en milieu voortaan onder één ministerie vallen. 'We moeten Nederland weer in beweging krijgen, en dat op een verantwoorde manier doen'. Het is volgens haar 'heel belangrijk' dat er straks 130 kilometer per uur op de snelweg gereden mag worden.
Zware tas
Ook Ivo Opstelten, aankomend minister van Veiligheid en Justitie, heeft er 'ontzettend veel zin in'. 'Ik heb een tas bij me, daar zit alles in, en die is behoorlijk zwaar.'
Volgens Henk Kamp, die minister van Sociale Zaken wordt, 'kan de dag niet meer kapot'.
Jan Kees de Jager, minister van Financiën, heeft zijn zaakjes goed op orde, verzekerde hij bij binnenkomst. Hij is wat bang dat collega's in het beraad nog iets willen binnenslepen. 'Maar we moeten juist bezuinigen en erop toezien dat de schatkist op orde komt.'
Traditioneel wordt er tijdens het constituerend beraad door de aanstaand bewindslieden nog wel eens een poging gedaan om bij de minister van Financiën extra geld los te peuteren. Ook voeren de collega's onderling nog wel eens wat strijd om zich bepaalde onderwerpen en portefeuilles toe te eigenen.

It goes without saying that Networking, and your individual aptitude for networking in general, are a integral part of success for any business owner. Good business is good relationships, simple as that.
There are countless experts, sociologists, gurus and moguls out there who will give you advice about how to become a better “Networker.” They’ll talk about things like: eye contact, repeating the person’s name, complimenting them, trying to find a common interest. All of those are great points; without question valid and effective. But is it possible that there is something more simplistic we are ignoring? Something that has nothing to do with the ability to avoid blinking in the course of a 15 minute conversation, or trying to discuss how low your new golfing buddies handicap is?
There is! It’s called How Can I Help You.

The first thing you need to do in affiliate marketing is to choose a niche (that you want to promote products/services in). This is the first step, and also one of the most important step toward affiliate marketing success and you would not want to get this wrong.
In this article, I am going to share with you some tips on how you can start choosing a profitable niche market.
1. Brainstorming
Many newbie affiliate marketers bump into this problem - And that is, they do not know what to promote!
There are 1,001 niches available (from health and fitness, business opportunities, love and relationships, finance and investment, self-improvement, home and garden, etc.) for you to choose from. I can say that you are literally spoiled for choice here.
So, which niche should you venture into? The first thing you can do is to do some simple brainstorming.
Especially when you are just starting out, you will want to go into niches that you have an affinity with. The reason is because, by going into a niche that you have an interest with, you will know exactly the problems that people in your niche are facing, and as such, you will be in a better position to locate products/services (that you can promote as an affiliate) to help them with their problems.
As long as you can find products/services to problems in which people are currently facing, and you explain to them how these products/services can help them solve their problems, you can be sure that people will want to buy them (and you will be able to generate commissions for every single sale you refer to these products/services).
2. Check For Demand
After you have decided on the niche market that you have an affinity with, the next thing you need to do is to check for demand.
The reason why you want to do so is because, if nobody is interested in what you are interested in, then there is no way you will be able to generate a single cent from the market!
There are a few simple ways which you can use to find out whether or not there is a demand in the niche market that you are intending to go into, and they are:
Books: Check out Amazon's website. Find out whether or not there are books written for the market that you are intending to go into.
Magazines: Are there any magazines dedicated to your affinity market? If there are lots of magazine available, you can be sure that people are indeed spending money in this market (and that means there is a huge potential for you to be able to generate a lot of money in this market as well). The reason is because, these magazine publishers will not publish magazines in markets with little or no demand. So, if you find lots of magazines available, that means good news for you.
Articles: Check out major article directories such as EzineArticles and GoArticles and find out whether or not there are articles written in the niche that you are intending to go into - If there are lots of articles, chances are there is a demand in it (and that means you can safely go into it)
3. Keyword Research
There are various keyword research tools (Such as the free Google AdWords Keyword Research Tool, free Wordtracker Tool, and the free Keyword Discovery Keyword Research Tool) that you can make use for free to check out whether or not there are people searching for the niche that you have selected in the brainstorming process.
Generally, I would go into the niche if there are at least 1,000 monthly searches for the keywords that are relating to the niche that I have selected in the brainstorming process.
If there are no books or magazines, or articles written that is about the niche that you have just brainstormed, or that there is a low search volume for the keywords around the niche, then my suggestion is that you look for other niches to work on (as chances are there is very little demand for it, and likelihood is that you will not be able to generate a lot of money in this niche as well).

Affiliate Marketing may be the most misunderstood words to those who aren't in this field of opportunity, or who are just beginning to enter it. Simply put, affiliate marketing is not that much different than being a salesman for other companies. However, there is a difference. Rather than actually remaining with a customer on the sales floor and being sure they buy, you are more like a "barker," who stands outside the doors of businesses, inviting people to enter and look around. As they enter the store you stamp them with your I.D. If they buy something the owner sees it was you who convinced them to enter and he gives you a commission of the sale.
On the Internet, you, as a salesman, are using your own websites (or other avenues of your Internet presence) as a way to send people to the store you are affiliated with. Your "barking" is done through banner ads, text links, articles, and a variety of other methods to convince people to visit the site or product you are referring. Through coding, a unique identifier is created which informs the other website that it was you who sent them a visitor. This identifier is called a "cookie." Most often, a reputable affiliate house, that may track hundreds of different business and many thousands of transactions, will keep track of clicks generated, commissions earned, money owed to the affiliate, and records of payment.
Affiliate Marketing is a legitimate and truly lucrative way to make money at home, on your computer. The problem is that far too many unscrupulous affiliate marketers have given this low start-up cost industry a black eye due to dishonest statements, false promises, and generally dishonest practices that fool many people into buying worthless products. This is especially true if the products are programs that promise overnight wealth or the ability to immediately generate money from home. Once Mr. & Mrs. Average are scammed they are unlikely to ever again make a purchase over the Internet, or believe that an honest living can be made from home as an affiliate marketer.
Because of the numerous Internet scams and ripoffs that are reported on news broadcasts (some not even involving AM) or in the newspapers, it is a common misconception that anyone who makes money on the Internet, as their primary business of affiliate marketing, is somehow involved in trying to steal the unsuspecting computer user's money. The fact is that 99.9% of those already involved in this field are not dishonest.
If you desire to be an affiliate marketer, please remain honest and never mislead your customers. Also, don't be afraid to expose those who do. The industry needs more good people who are willing to sell honestly, thus helping the consumer and earning their trust.
